My earlier comment about mafia members also applies to Tex-assians. |
Oh pooh........
Don't be such a :
Share the love, share the love.
"Tigger is all right really," said Piglet lazily.
"Of course he is," said Christopher Robin.
"Everybody is really," said Pooh. "That's what I think," said Pooh.
"But I don't suppose I'm right," he said.
"Of course you are," said Christopher Robin.

Story? |
Wendover Utah is on the border between Utah and Nevada on I-80. We stopped at the KOA there one night. There are 5 huge casinos and that is all. The one grocery store was a glorified 7-11. But that's no biggie--there were no restaurants except what was in the casinos (I don't do casinos) and McD and BK. (We had pb&j and yogurt--the only positive point) No churches, and a horrible atmosphere. Intense poverty. One of the prominent buildings was a welfare resource center. Constant police patrols. It was all dirt and hotter than hot. Our KOA had a huge fence around it that got locked down at night.I just can't imagine anyone choosing to live in that desperation.
Down the road about fifty miles in this desolation was a prison. The inmates were out, no trees or grass, just searing sun. Seeing this prison would keep me from a life of crime, that's for sure!!

Though you get points for 1a, 1b puts you on the list with the mafia and the Tex-assians. I'm really going to be keeping the riff raff out!
