He turned in his best acting job in Six Degrees of Seperation (followed by Ali , but my favorite of his is probably Independence Day.

MIIB a little hokey, but i love Sci-Fi movies and Will Smith
Independence Day
On Ali, I liked him in the role but the movie itself did not grab me much.
