If you could add a 13th month to the year, where would you insert it?

Definitely fall, when it's just starting to cool off. The leaves are changing colors and the weather is crisp.
And it's both baseball and football season!
I don't know if it's just that I've spent 73% of my life in school, but fall always seems like a beginning of a new year to me, too.

Fall is where I would add it too. Not too hot, people getting excited for the holidays. Yeah good spot.

It would be a toss up between fall and spring. Both are great. Mild temps and just beautiful outside....

Between May and June.
Great time of year, weather is perfect for running and cycling, flowers are blooming, skirts get shorter....

Right in between April and May. Just when things get green and start smelling good.

Between January and February. Ski season is very short here, but once March hits, our weather is pretty much the same until the next winter. So in order to get in more quality slope time, I'd have to go with a winter month.

I'd put 15 days on each side of the summer solstice. Long days rock my face off!

As for leaves ...I leave where they fall, nature's compost I figure.

short skirts are cool Cheryl- You should see spring time in Radnor with all of the College girls.
Okay I think I better ask myself if I want pizza. I am a married father of 3.

summer... I love the long days when it seems as though the kids play outside all day and just fall into bed asleep from exhaustion. There seems to be so much more time to do things. Now, by the times it's 7:00 p.m., I don't want to leave the house. In the summer, that's prime time to go for a walk, sit on the porch, chat with the neighbors.... definately summer needs an extra month.
