The USA Hockey Story has to be the best.
also, (there are quite a few here)
Chris Webber calling time-out against UNC in the National Championship.
Shaq's alley-oop to Kobe vs the Blazers in the 2002 playoff.
Kirk Gibson's Grand Slam Home Run to defeat the Oakland A's.
Dennis Gibson of the San Diego Chargers knocking down Neil O'Donnel's 4th down pass to send the Chargers to the Super Bowl.
Magic Johnson's running one handed hook shot at the buzzer to defeat the Celtics in Game 5 of the 1987 NBA finals.
As a coach, I have too many personal ones to include here.

Professional: Philles winning the 1980 world series. Greg and I stayed up and watched the whole thing then hooted and hollered in the streets.
Personal The first marathon. Great personal triumph for me.
Repeated 4 other times since and still feels good to finish.

That's awesome!
My favorite sports moment was the World Series 2002. It's hard to pick a specific moment because all the games were so good, but game 5 and game 7 were pretty hard to beat.
And of course I can't forget about every time the Rally Monkey comes out.

1980 Olympic Hockey team has to be no. 1 in my book.
This years Fiesta Bowl victory by OSU is up there.
Any of the Big Red Machines World Series titles back in the day of Joe Morgan, Johnny Bench, Tony Perez, et al.... Oh yeah, they had some guy by the name of Rose too.... shoulda been a hall of famer....
The Browns Kardiac Kids provided some great memories despite never getting to the big gahuna.
Finishing my first and so far only 1/2 marathon in 2001. I actually broke out into a grin in mile 11 because I knew right then and there it was in the bag and I was well ahead of the goal pace I had set.
Oh wait! Forgot the no. 1 highlight of all time for me! Watching my oldest son pitch a 3 hit shutout in a tournament championship game when he was 13. He faced an undefeated team and he hadn't gotten to pitch much that year. Nobody expected his team to put up much of a fight and they really didn't expect his pitching performance. His teammates carried him off the field like they'd won the world series.
