With having kids it a lot of fub watching them get real excited and talk about presents and stuff. People seem a little nicer this time of year too (as long as they are not shopping that is)

my kids are whacko already. even the big guy is super excited and it's only december 4. sheeeeesh. visions of X-Box are dancing in his head.
i even got him this controller that "cools his little hands off" when he plays. it blows air on his sweaty palms clutching at the controller for 4 hours nonstop.
i love Christmas Eve. going to candelight service. it's just quiet. i really love it when it snows on Christmas Eve.

That's the silliest thing I've eva heard in my life! does this device 'breathe' for him as well so he can save that extra energy it takes to beat the dragon

now now Joel. bitter are we? just cuz you don't have the palm cooling controller doesn't mean you should fling poo at us. his precious palms remain cool as they clutch. yours, on the other hand, will be sweaty and clammy.
jingle jingle jingle.

I grew up on Coleco. Probably the most unfriendliest 'paddle' EVA! I've been hurt before...don't mind me...

The kids part is great. I do try to play down the gift part of it until the day itself because they do end up getting so much. My fav part though is going overboard on what I spend on my parents. For all the crummy stuff I might have gotten them as a kid and the agony of simply being parents, I really like to hear "you spent way too much" .."naw, you deserve it".
