Well after playing the score and having to be serious while in the Pit for a few musicals. i was happy to have such an uninhibited musical to go view. most musicals have songs in musical styles i can't stand.

Get out of that cave, man!
The list of favorite musicals is long. My favorite of all time is "Singin' in the Rain", followed by "Camelot". "The Music Man" is a close third. Then we have "Hello, Dolly", "An American in Paris", "The Sound of Music", "Mary Poppins". I could go on, and on.
One I cannot stand "Fiddler on the Roof". Tried twice. Still don't like it.

West side story mostly because I played in the pit for it (friggin hard music too) but I love the Natalie wood movie version
Honorable mention must go to (ie, second place tied a million ways):
Music Man
How to Succeed in Business without really trying
The Producers
Tommy
Bye Bye Birdie
Chicago (finally saw this on stage)
Mary Poppins (if this counts)
Sound of Music
I didn't like Phantom that much
