I gave up chocolate for Lent, and I am not the one who had to take the thread off topic.

Elkid, you are a serious connoisseur! I love the Baci and the Lindt bon-bon things.
But is it candy bars only?
I pick: Twix, 100 Grand, and Peppermint Patties.

milky way dark is called midnight now because some people complained it was degrading to a certain race.
| mars web site wrote: | Why did you change the name from MILKY WAY® Dark to MILKY WAY® Midnight?
The MILKY WAY® Dark Bar used to be called FOREVER YOURS® Bar back in 1936 and was discontinued in 1979. However, due to popular demand the FOREVER YOURS® Bar was reintroduced in 1989 and was named MILKY WAY® Dark Bar. Based on consumer studies we found out that the chocolate in MILKY WAY® Dark was not what people would think of as dark chocolate and we wanted to reposition the bar to appeal to a broader audience so it was renamed MILKY WAY® Midnight in 2000 and is what you see on the shelves today. The bar still retains its bold, rich chocolate, fluffy nougat and the best caramel ever, the change was only in the name.

1. Snickers
2. Reeses PBC
3 tie btwn kit kat and twix
All time best chocolate I've ever eaten: Wilbur buds dark chocolate from Lititz, PA. They have the most awesome triple coated almonds I've ever eaten--milk, then dark, then powdered dark cocoa. Unbelievably decadent and delicious. European chocs don't even compare to Wilbur buds. Although I'm going to order some of that Chocolove that Elkid recommended.

It said that the chocolate that they were using didn't match up with what people thought a 'dark' chocolate should be, not that people with darker skin were offended by the name.

Interestingly enough, I was on the focus group panel that brought that fine product to market. You are very welcome.
