I had a Corvair Turbo Spyder that my dad passed down to me in 1972 when he got a new car.
Imagine being a Junior in High School with a hot car like that
We called it "Nader's Raider"

My favorite car hasn't been my nicest car by anymeans...but I loved my 94 Ford Escort. That car never gave me any trouble, and I was very emotionally attached. I'm still slightly bitter that I let my husband trade it in on our truck (which I also love)

I love my current vehicle, my 1999 Durango. Yeah, it doesn't get great gas mileage, but it's been reliable, good in the snow and it is one powerful mofo!

ive only had two cars:
my first was a 95 nissan sentra. it was nice, it was clean, had low miles and it was free. then i totaled in feb, a week after my bday. i did a good job; i rear-ended an suv from a mostly dead stop and set off both air bags in my car. barely put a tiny dent in the fender of the suv... but the cop didnt give me too much crap though because the lady i hit didnt have her license or insurance (which, in ga is illegal) and it wasnt her car.
now i have a 2001 honda civic. it is sooo cute! its red with black interior, has two doors, and a sunroof! while its not free, i did get the special grandparent financing on it so theres no interest and i can make the payments in whatever amt that i wish...

My first car was a blast, but there's no way I'd drive it now. It was a pale yellow, Honda 600 Sedan, like this one but without a sunroof: It was a really fun car, and when I was in high school, I would often find that the guys had turned my car sideways in my parking space.
But now, my favorite car is our Mistubishi 3000GT VR-4, in RED!

My favorite was a 1993 Ford Ranger. I bought it brand new when I was 17. MY parents signed for it but I made all the payments. Had it payed for in 2 years! It was the cutest little truck, and of course I was a cool chick cause I drove a truck. It was still in great shape when I traded it in ( which was really, really, really, stupid.)

I miss my Jeep Wrangler. I loved cruising around without doors.

I've got one of those that passes me just about every night on the way home. Him and some guy in a white, barely running Toyota MR-2. He always looks so bitter behind the wheel.

I have a '62 Mercury Comet. This isn't a picture of my car but it's identicle in make and colour. It was my grandfather's which I bought from my grandmother after he passed away. It's sitting under a tarp at the side of the house just waiting for my son to get older so we can work on it together.

oh, rock! my husband had a '61 Comet. Those things are cool. 3 gears - 1st, 2nd, and reverse. The engines are tiny relative to the size of the car.

My Audi was like this, but red. I bought it myself with a loan from my parents when I was in HS. It was a '79, four door, with a really nice interior. It got totaled my first night at Texas Tech. (I was rear-ended). I did get more for the car from the insurance than I had originally paid for it.
