I would go with a cardigan. Definitely no hose and open toed sandels. If the dress is sheer, you will need some sort of full slip.

No hose and open toed sandals. Run out and buy a crocheted wrap for your shoulders. Buy one in flaming red!!

Oooh. Great idea! Where does one get something like this? I was thinking maybe hot pink and a purse to somewhat match.

But, I do have a red little satin purse I could use in a pinch... that would set the white off quite nicely!

Or even a sky blue with a blue Fossil mini bag?

No, no, no!!!!

Okay, here is what you need to do...

Open toes, no hose (EVER)
Pretty white dress, no slip (EVER)
Pink is the new black so instead of flaming red I would go with pink...hot pink.

Instead of a crocheted wrap and/or shawl you should get a pashmina because they are really in stlye right now! ( http://store1.yimg.com/I/boutiquejewel_1840_3268550 ) You can find them at most department stores or probably even in the kiosks in the mall.

Get your nails painted hot pink and wear some shiny "neutral pink" gloss lipstick and you'll be the hit of the wedding! Smile

Most excellent ideas!!! I'm glad you posted a link because I would have thought it was a sandwich of some sort.

I like the pink idea, too! Hot pink!

Why do you think they make dresses that way (today)? Peep shows are what it's all about.

...not that I would ever wear one...black all the way for me, babeeee!

I bought a long body shaper thing and it covers things quite nicely.
