Is it in poor taste, for a professional, 34 year old man, to wear his earring in public?
I quit wearing mine two years ago...not because I didn't like it, I just felt like I was too old to wear something like that.
Just curious as to how the forum will respond.
(I know how some will respond)

(I know how some will respond) | No, unless you're wearing pumps.

Probably.
I have three holes in my ears (2 left, 1 right). I haven't worn any earrings in at least a couple of years.

There are some people who believe an earring on a man or a boy is wrong, no matter the age. For some, it's a sign of free-spiritedness, which they want to show no matter their age.
I don't think it's wrong, per se. But I know that it looks tacky to some.

I quit having pierced anything about 10 years ago.
I think your questions begs another question though...professional what?

I think something small would be ok. Leave the hoops at home.

I agree with Go....not wrong, but not necessarily the best look in my opinion.

I don't mind them as long as they arent' the kind that are like the african ones (to make holes, you can see through, stretch out your lobs-type). I say it's up to your own personal feelings on it.

I always wonder what those kids that do lobe stretching are going to do when they get a little older and realize that it's not cool anymore (or that it ever was). Reconstructive surgery?
