LOVE STARBUCKS!!!!
I'm a gift card carrying starbucks whore!!! But I like to mess around with the employees and I order incorrectly:
me: "medium espresso with steamed skim milk"
starbucks: "grande non-fat latte"
me: "that's right, medium espresso with steamed skim milk"

They don't like me very much.

I feel the same way Shelfie does about Wal-Mart!!!

Starbucks is to me as Wal-mart is to shelfie. Blech!

REALLY??????????? How come?? Sad
I don't think we have Quizno's up here in the boonies, but I've heard they are yummier than Subway.

Their prices are ridiculous. If I'm gonna lay out that kind of cash, it'll be for gourmet beans for my own house. That's one of my many ironies: I hate to spend $3 on a coffee, but think nothing of dropping $7 for a good pint. Plus it scares me that Starbucks is everywhere. And Bucks County has better coffee, hands down.

Actually, I'd have to agree with you on the regular coffee. I usually only get chai, latte/cappuccino type stuff there, BCC does have better variety, especially since I LOVE flavored coffee!! Their kona blend used to rock.....

Fubby about the beer/coffee thing too! This could be a topic for another thread...... Twisted Evil

Starbucks is rather pricey and not that great in my opinion, but I still go there on the caffeine deprived occasion why not, there are 2 at every intersection here

I don't like Quizno's Elkiddio! I'll take Subway or Blimpie any day over those! Blimpie is okay but I lived across the street from one that accepted checks in college so I ate that ALOT. I'm a little burned out.

one of my favorite (locally owned) coffee shops has buttons and t-shirts that say 'Friends don't let Friends drink Starbucks'...sums it up pretty well i think...their coffee is vastly over-rated....

yeah but then the go and put some weird sauce or spice on it and then bake it. Too much. Everything is really complicated there. I just want turkey, some lettuce and a little mayo. Cold.

I do like some Starbucks drinks. But I like to make fun of Starbucks, too. Did you read that Onion article on the Starbucks opening in the bathroom of another Starbucks? Tee-hee
