For those of us that take the same route to work every day, how many times do you see the same car on a weekly basis? I realize not every car sticks out in the crowd but certain cars catch you eye in traffic.

I see a silver Ford Focus with bike racks on it a could of times a week, both coming and going to work. A bright yellow Monte Carlo passes me a couple of times a week on my way in. When I drive, I see the same hippy van on a regular basis.

Just this week, I've stopped behind the same van at the same stop light two days in a row and some bus driver waved to me like "I see you everyday. "

Does anyone else pay that much attention to traffic?

I see the same bus, lets me know how I am doing on my time. Don't really notice the other cars though. The same people are at the 7-11 when I get my coffee though.

I haven't noticed lately, but years ago when I was commuting into Los Angeles, I would see a bright yellow Honda Civic with a liscense plate that said BANANE. He was pretty hard to miss, but I was surprised that on a 35 mile one way commute on LA freeways, I would see him about 2 times a week.

Unless there is something that makes them stick out (like a personal plate), there are too many cars on my commute.

How can that be? I see a ton of the same pple everyday. And we have almost the same commute. Although I have never seen you, but I have seen Tracy.

There is this little burnt orange metro that always goes 55mph I see him atleast once a week. Another small car with a L plate that says, "my beau" and one that says "N2 T WND" or something like that. There is this yellow VW Beattle (a new one) with red flames and a bunch of mail box stickers that say "Deisel"

No one ways (with all fingers at least) but I am usually passing them rather quickly. My average speed to work is a mile a minute. That includes the city driving. Embarassed

As I said, if there's something to make them stick out, I notice them. I see the yellow beatle all the time as well. I leave for work prolly an hour before you do, so we have a different 'crowd'. I hardly ever leave at the same time each day either.

I always see:
a taupe Escort with a crunched fender
the various parents who are headed to school
a blue Chevy 4x4 belonging to a dad who takes his daughters to Tim Horton's for breakfast every morning before school Shocked
a black Sunfire
a silver Chev 4x4

there's more but I won't bore you. The school is on a country road and so the same traffic is always there at that time.

I may be the familiar face, though to whom, I don't know. Last night at the Y some guy got on the track after I had done a couple of miles and kept pace with me for two or three more. Eventually he did a littke kick and passed me, then stopped, then thanked me by name afterward.

Unless it's an actual PennDot worker, in which case, said person is leaning on the shovel, or "supervising" the 1 person who has been designated "actual worker of the day"
