I was out on a run yesterday and was just thinking about being careful because of the acorns and buckeyes that are falling, when I was hit on my sunglasses by a falling acorn. Is God trying to tell me something?? I mean, really, does God have to throw nuts at me now?

We've got a few big oaks dropping acrons all the time. It's like ducking across an artillery range to get to the garage. Surprised

There is a substitute teacher my son had in 2nd grade who was reading them a story and kept saying it like that, akern instead of acorn. My son still remembers and laughs about it sometimes. Mr. Green
