I don't get it - I have all the reasons in the world to always be cold but I'm usually warmer than most of the people I work with. I wear short sleeves in the office all winter when everyone else is wearing sweaters.

that was another thing I'd suggest Elkid to get checked. You lose iron through the pounding of your feet. If you do get checked......ask the numbers, don't let them say "normal range" I was 12 which is bottom of normal, 11 is too low. However, runners/athletes should be one number higher.....so 13 for a woman. I was po'd as I told my doctor that I was an endurance athlete and she said I was fine.
I was drinking alot of green tea at the time. If you eat/drink things high in antioxidants, you need to do it well after eating your food rich in iron. Antioxidants affect the absorption of iron.
Now if I can figure out how to get the vitamin D I need from lack of running outside, or I'm going to be very SAD this winter.

slow release iron pills for 3 or 4 weeks......NEVER more, and I'm definitely not advising going on iron without your lab count.......(not to say I'm not guilty of it)....but you can overload on iron and it's not good.

well, I'm guessing you may be a too long, too close together person?? I've been a 24/7 person.

I don't know what long/close together means but I've been anemic since I was 18 and supplements don't seem to help, but I continue to take 1 a day (There was a time I was supposed to take 4 slow release per day ). My doctor thinks my spleen was damaged when I had mono and thus my count will just be low from now on.

Had to do this...
Freezing. Rests his head on a pillow made of concrete. Again.
Oh, Feeling maybe he'll see a little better set a days. Ooh yeah.
Oh, hand out faces that he sees time again ain't that familiar. Ooh.
Oh, dark grin. He can't help when his happy looks insane. Yeah.
Even flow. Thoughts arrive like butterflies.
Oh, he don't know so he chases them away-yeah. Ooh.
Oh, someday yet he'll begin his life again.
Life again. Life again.
Kneeling. Looking through the paper though he doesn't know to read. Ooh yeah.
Oh, praying now to something that has never showed him anything. No.
Oh, feeling understands the weather of the winters on its way. Yeah, woo.
Oh, ceilings few and far between all the legal halls of shame. Yeah.
Even flow. Thoughts arrive like butterflies.
Oh, he don't know so he chases them away-yeah. Ooh.
Oh, someday yet he'll begin his life again. Yeah.
Oh, whispering hands gently lead him away.
Lead him away. Him away.
Yeah.
Woo. Ah, yeah, yeah, yeah, motherfucker.
Even flow. Thoughts arrive like butterflies. Yeah.
Oh, he don't know so he chases them away-yeah. Ooh.
A-someday yet he'll begin his life again. Yeah.
Oh, whispering hands gently lead him away.
Lead him away. Him away.
Yeah.
Woo. Uh huh yeah. Yeah yeah, flip it up again.
I died. I died and you just stood there. I died and you watched me.
I died and you walked by and said, "No. I'm dead."

My iron's fine. Get that and other things checked regularly, and the test results I got on Tuesday confirm all my levels of "stuff" are good. Must be lower body fat. Now I can ensconce myself in velvet and have a legitimate reason for doing so! Seriously, people say "oh you can't be THAT cold" when I scream I'm freezing, then they recoil in horror when they feel my ice cold hands.

How do you explain that if you are fat like me??? I'm always freezing! I just call it "low metabolism."

I am always cold too, but I love this time of year! I'd sleep with the window open if the Man would let me!
