Lucy bought her car used and bought the extended warranty to cover the car for 100,000 or 10 years. The transmission went out yesterday. 86,000 on the car and we pay nada.
I know we payed for the warranty, but I think it was $1500 added to the price of the car. I know a transmission cost more than that.

I always buy the extended warranty on cars. I figure.... I have bad luck. Somehting is going to break and I never have any money. I'm just financing that repair that I know I will have at a nice low rate.
Warranties are a beautiful thing!

If it's something that's covered that's cool. My girlfriend had some kind of extended warranty on her used car and everytime something happened she was told it wasn't covered in the warranty.
