to see what you will do
Everyone's looking at you, oh
Everyone's wondering, will you come out tonight
Everyone's trying to get it right, get it right

Okay, everybody now:

Everybody's working for the weekend!

What are you doing this weekend you have worked so hard for? A second chance? New romance? Going off the deep end? Starting at the start?

(for those of you out there who missed this 80s, this is the 'weekend plans' thread)

Tonite: more packing & cleaning. Plan to be 90% done by 10pm. Disassemble my bedroom furniture. Dining room is already done. YAY!

Saturday: big bbq at my place with friends and probably neighbors. Dogs, weenies, beer, soda, tunes. Looking forward to this. We're going to have a great time. Good photo op I think.

Sunday: Make a list of all things I need to do Mon-Wed, lots of phone calls to make for kids schools, all the things that need to get turned on, transfer stuff into John's name, etc. Finish packing by evening. Clean remaining rooms & carpet.

Will be a full weekend. Turns out that being busy is a good thing.

Didn't miss the 80s, and didn't miss Loverboy, either. Razz

Get new running shoes, register for half-marathon.

Paint for the dreaded sewing room, new garage door opener. So far as I know, the two are not related.

Watch Olympics when time and circumstances allow.

Big plans on Saturday night... Very Happy

Dropping the kids off at mom and dads and then headin into the big city for dinner, a show (Mama Mia), and then a night at a very nice hotel. Between all that we're going to go shopping, see some live jazz music with cocktails and some indoor recreation in the hotel room.

A well deserved break to celebrate our 10th wedding anniverary.

Tonight: there is talk of going to see Cross Canadian Ragweed play I know I'm getting old when I'd rather finish up unpacking than go out

Tomorrow: 'clean' (ie, not clean) old place and turn in keys w00t! Shampoo carpet at new place, organize, organize, ORGANIZE!!!

PM: goodbye party for one of my really really good friends who is moving back 'home' to Iowa. Many drunken tears or your money back guaranteed.

Sunday: recover, get ready for skool which starts Monday cry

Happy Anniversary, subman!!! Sounds like a great time!

Let's see:

Friday-pizza and movie night with the roomie after a long walk on the trail

Saturday: check out Maddie's mountain bike and take to bike shop to get tuned up. Spend way too much money on stuff I prolly don't need. Maybe head to Lancaster while we're out that way.

Sunday: LONNNG workout followed by cleaning and finishing up painting my bedroom. Definitely a work day. Get ready for school which also starts Monday. Confused

Today: sleep lots (all I've done today). Pick up car from body shop. Exchange 4th broken MP3 player. Dinner out with the 'medic.

Tomorrow: drive to NJ. Bus/subway to NYRRC headquarters to pick up race stuff. Hopefully dinner with baby brother and SIL.

Sunday: Manhattan half, baby! Home to slack one last day before school starts on Monday.
