I'm getting rid of one of my cars and buying a new one. They make it so easy now. I picked the car, got the financing and everything right on the internet. All I have to do is go in, sign the forms and drive the car away, done.
No haggling with salesman, nothing.

Wow. Is it a brand new car? I didn't even know you could do that. I bet the dealerships HATE that.

My friend bought an old camaro off e-bay. Turned it into a 1/4 mile racer.

You know how all the retro 70s and 80s tee shirts are big right now? For his birthday my BIL got one that said You Rock? No, IROC. With a picture of a Camaro. He wears it proudly.

Yup, the car is brand new. The only time I spoke with the dealer was when he called me and told me the car was available on the lot. He had to walk out and visually look at it before the bank would process the loan.
I put a down payment and the car is sitting on the lot waiting for me.
I have 48 hours to change my mind or I lose the down. I still lose some, like 10% if I change my mind, but I'm not gonna.

In red with a sun roof and all the fancy stuff, just for fun. The car was less than 15K, loaded. After the MFR. Oh yeah, 5.5%. We could have gotten 0%, but no rebate.

Yep. Bought our 2000 Mazda MPV. Loaded, with only 13K miles, back in 2002 when we bought it. The guy was selling it for his dad who drove it back and forth to FLA twice, but it was otherwise sitting in a garage the rest of the time. The back seats had never been sat in.
A steal at $14,500.
