I am a regular swimmer. I go to the pool with friends. We work out a bit and have fun too. My friends told me that they had heard of “Power” swim. I was curious about it but they were unable to tell me anything else about it. Have You Ever Had a “Power” swim?

Power swim is an under water workout. It is a swimming with weights. Now, don’t picture barbells and dumbbells underwater. There are small wrist and ankle straps which contain small weights. The weights can be added or removed as required. They make swimming more difficult and require substantial effort. If you try to swim fast with these weights you will be pushing against combined resistance. So it is somewhat anaerobic as well as aerobic exercise. It is told to increase your swimming power and strength.
