There will be a slew of epic head-to-head showdowns at this Saturday’s Diamond League meet at Gateshead, UK. Current world leader Asafa Powell will be challenged by former world champ Tyson Gay in the 100m, US champ Wallace Spearmon will face off against Olympic bronze medalist Walter Dix in the 200m, and reigning long jump world champ Dwight Phillips will be tested by reigning Olympic champ Irving Saladino.
