Tuesday a race was held, a race up the steps of the empire state building
There are:
>86 floors
>1,576 steps
My question is, without looking it up, what was the winning time???

Now I remember where I got my answer. It takes an elevator 55 seconds to make the trip.

I looked it up (couldn't resist).
Wow, that was surprising. I work in a 17 floor building and stairs are tough. The quad burn is amazing.

really???
that would be an excellent guess - if you did not read the phila inquirer this morning on the train on the way to work this morning during your regular ride into the city where your office is
The winner climbed to the top via the stairs in 9:33

Did not read the paper, nor did I hear anything about it. I remember an article I read years ago about it. Does that count as cheating
I drive into the city now.

I think the winner wears a cape and has "Super" in his name somewhere.
