Yep, it's Crankypants day.
I have a health issue which has me discouraged.
I am worried about the 1/2 on Sunday because I bagged my last long run at 5 miles.
I was an absolute c-word to my son last night and this morning.
I am overwhelmed with housework.
Everything I own is either scratched by cats, stained, broken, ripped, gly, or on it's last leg. Except my boots.
I'm tired, whiny and b*tchy.
And I'm prolly PMS'ing too.
I think I'll just crawl under my desk.

I think I left some M&M's down there last time I was there. Please don't eat them all.

We all have days like this. First, if you are PMSing, recognize it and own it. I find this so hard to do, and am usually 3-4 days into it before I realize that I don't hate everyone & everything, I'm just being emotional. Luckily, it passes, but fat lot of help that does you today. Sorry.
Housework IS overwhelming! Just do what you can, forget the rest. Remember that you don't live in a museum, and it will have that lived-in look. A kid and a cats? Forget it. If it really is driving you up a wall, visit http://www.flylady.net I think it is, it really has helped me even though my house is still cluttered. I've come a long way, and you can too.
I too seem to own crap. Even my awesome bed that we just got in January has nicks all over it. Not to mention that I just found little teeth marks in it. Honestly!! I keep telling myself that I will have NICE things once my kids leave the nest. Only 15 or so years to go.
Even the very best of us are not always full of love and sunshine. It's ok to be a little bit human now and again. Try not to be too hard on yourself. If you can find the time this week, do something just for you, even if it's just coffee and a bagel.
Big hugs to you!!

My friend Laurie at work uses flylady too and gets daily emails from it. She says it helps her a lot....I may try it too.
In the meantime, let me go find that cattle prod and a couple french fries for your nose.....

Whitney Houston should be taken out and shot. She is Every Woman, and so we think we should be, too!
Unless I send a maid, a masseuse, and a nanny over, there's not much I'm gonna be able to say except I know how you feel, and you'll feel better soon.
A nice lice-check for you.

That I can't help you with.

Consider it a long taper. If you've put in the miles, one missed/shortened run won't kill you.

Give him extra hugs & kisses tonight and I bet he'll forget about it.

Do it in small batches when you can. I don't remember ever seeing 'HERE LIES A GREAT HOUSECLEANER' on any tombstone. Put it in perspective: it's a small thing.

Move to a new house. In a new state ....

As per recent threads, you are not the only one.

This, too, shall pass.

So long as you get some M&Ms or take a nap, sounds good.
