The Las Vegas Marathon has been sold to different race people and is now being held December 4, 2005. The course has been changed also, and it is going to be on The Strip!

I am now vacillating between marathons.
My plans were to run Philly Nov 21 and then the RNR Arizona Marathon January 16. (I could not run LV right after Philly.)
If I did LV, I would not do the other two.
Coincidentally, I have a convention in LV that I was already planning on attending which begins December 4. That appeals to the multi-tasker in me.
One marathon would mean cheaper in terms of airfare.
The marathon in January is to celebrate my 40th birthday. I could always go skiing or something somewhere closer to home. (There was a day spa event planned after the Arizona marathon.)
I had asked Elvis if there would be a 1/2 marathon, but they don't have things completely settled yet. That would be ideal for me, and allow me to keep my original plans.
