I'm glad she was found alive too, and hate to be a cynic, but I too think it's very strange that she was that close to home, had even been to a party, and never reached out for help. Then again, who knows what she had been through.

As for the other suspect dying in prison innocent. He had never been charged, he was jailed for a parole violation.

I guess I was in law enforcement too long. I think everyone is guilty, and that there's always something else going on.

She definitely sounds drugged/or under some other influence. (mind control through deprivation comes to mind)

What p*sses me off is some uncle is griping about the cops not following up on this guy. SHE IS HOME SAFE YOU IGNORANUS!! Someone was doing their job right--or she wouldn't be home AT ALL! You'd think the *ssclown would have the class to say thanks!

I loved what the police spokesperson said: (and I paraphrase) "Just because we're not telling you (the media) everything, doesn't mean we didn't know what was going on."

I love how arrogant the media has become.
sheesh.

I hope she can get past the trauma this has certainly caused in her innocent mind/life.

The media thinks they need to know everything, even if it compromises an investigation of lives. The rush to be the first to report the story have tainted good reporting. Its all about ratings anymore.

I shudder to wonder how many copycat crimes have been committed just due to the notoriety of some crimes in the media. (some people will commit crimes no matter what, but some people need help with the idea stages--media sure doesn't help that )
