The great holiday dilemma. Open it or not?
Yeah, open it. They want to know how you like it.

No. Put it under the tree. It's one more on Christmas.

Say a superior from another office leaves a box on your desk all wrapped for Crimmus. What do you do?

Generally, don't open until Christmas or Christmas Eve (depending on which way you swing).

If it's totally unexpected (and the boss is there), or part of an office exchange, open it. Otherwise (like if you and boss do this each year out of friendship rather than boss-employee relationship) open it at home.

I'd save it for Xmas morning. I'll cherish anything I get and save it.
I don't think I'll be getting anything this year, except an ornament from my Dad. Sad

:vent:

Dear Inlaws:

I know exactly what you are doing.
It hurts.
And you're leaving me very bitter.

Sorry MW. Not trying to ruin your thread. This is just my way of expressing myself on a day like today without starting a thread here to do so.

The sad part is...I'm the so not into being a bitter person.
I'm just so hurt all of the time!
