Posted: 10/22/02 - 21:36 Post subject: Dubbya called me this afternoon
I was cleaning the bathroom and the phone rang, I went to the bedroom to pick it up. I say "hello" and our good president George W Bush starts talking to me! it goes downhill from there: he was incredibly rude to me, I tried to speak with him, you know, hold a normal conversation, but he was like a man obsessed. He kept rattling on about issues, yadda, yadda yadda. I finally became so upset that I told him I had dinner on the stove and couldn't talk now, then I hung up.

You have caller ID?
He was in the Chester County area today, drumming up support for the local repubilicans, and Mike Fisher.

yeah, but it seems like he could work more efficiently than calling individuals like myself. I mean, just how many people were on his list? how many people could he actually call, 30/hour? and that's if they all answer and listen to him drone on and on.
he he he, like I would believe he cared enough to actually call me, d@mn recorded message

He called me, too.
It was the first time in the history of answering the phone that I wished it had been a telemarketer instead.
