Yesterday Keith was scheduled to have surgery on his other hand for carpal tunnel. We were supposed to be there at 10:30. Nurse calls early and says they are moving us back to 12: 45. Calls again at 11 and says come at 1:15. Get there at 1:15 and the doctor doesn't get there until 2.

The nurse tells us he was late because he was in a St. Patricks Day parade.

At least they were truthful. They could have handed you some line about him being tied up in an emergency or something.
