It's 71 and sunny here and the high is only supposed to be in the low
eighties. It should be against the law to be at work on days like today.

We've been under siege by the rain and thunder gods this whole week with flood watches and warnings and a few deaths due to flooding. Now today is perfectly blue skies, sun and a high near 80. I don't want to be here today......

Well bein' a sales guy has it's advantages (golf 1-2 times a week) But forget it today. High 80's, so humid my glasses fog up when I go outside, and it's been thundering and pouring in 20 minute intervels. It's a good day to stay at home on the couch.

You know, if the weather gods hear you complaining and dump another month's worth of heat and humidity on us in August I am coming down there and whoopin' azz.....
It's gorgeous here too, I may just go outside at lunch instead of to the gym!

I was working in Kelowna for the last 3 days and it was brutally hot and dry- Temperatures ranged from at least 90-110 degrees F. A great thing we had a chance to head down to Lake Okanagan, which was just one road across my workplace for a nice, cool swim.
