when can't think of any worthwhile comment to the posts on Riff-raff.
Even worse, I can't think of any thing to write about except running and I promise you I won't do that. (at least in this forum)

Sorry Cappy; irits- shortened version of irritable.
Don't worry, I struggle with what you lot write sometimes. Promise to write in my best American from now on.

I love that term, Phar! Makes me think of intestinal distress, which is of course a particularly unpleasant form of "irits"
Lots of things give me the irits-- I can't say I am ever at a loss for words but there's plenty of other stuff on my irits list at the moment! I'm sure your running advice will be greatly appreciated no matter where you post it. Nobody's ever turned down a bit of help in the neverending quest for getting better!
Are you following any of the rugby world cup? What am I missing, other than that our US team sucks?

Please don't use your best American. You'll make the rest of us look bad. Besides, I love reading your phrases.

Genie, I can bring you up to speed with the rugby. It's down to the final two semi-finals. England play France tonight and last night New Zeland played Oz. with Australia winning 22 to 10. Believe me Oz were the rank outsiders at 8/1 but went at the "All Blacks" from the start and never gave them a chance to play their free flowing game. I worked last night (it's sunday morning here) but still managed to see most of the game.
As as far as the US went; well at least they were exposed to world competition and will come back more knowledgeable better for the experience. It's tough when it is not your national football code, I know that here in Melbourne there are two codes of rugby played Union and League but they are by far dominated by Australian football, most rugby is played in the northen states.

Phar Lap,
Please don't speak American. Your phrases and manner of speaking are charming. I can even read your accent in it!
Cheeky
P.S. Yes I do hate when I have lost my clever.

Very true. Hopefully they can improve for next year! Scotland's out of it too, eh? Then it's not a total shame.
I say Oz-France finals, what do you think?
