When i'm in my car speeding down I-95, Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Saturday Night Special"* seems like the greatest song ever produced.....but sitting here in my office i can't even listen to it....same with country music - i can't listen to them in the winter, it must be a sunny warm day......
*Is it the environment or am i influenced by that scene in The Longest Yard influence

Yes I think definitely it does.
But then too, sometimes music can make your environment seem different too, so I guess it can go both ways.

That's very true.
I have certain CD's or songs that I consider "driving music" but never listen to at other times.

I agree pro, certain songs sound so much better in the car than at home.

Nothing like the acoustics of the Tower theater Tim.
Yes a really good sound system does wonders for classical music.
