I enjoy it as a background while at home. At work there are lots of radios playing loudly enough (Just a remider I work in a postal facility). We have some guys who come to our area working OT who dial in a "Classic Rock" station and let it wail. I'm at the point if its not RATM (or clones) I can endure almost anything.
I must say I enjoy it - it seems to keep everyone in a good mood.

I'm listening to Tantric (first album) while I do my presentation. I don't think it's a positive influence on the outcome, but then again neither is posting this.

When I used to work in an office (wow, seems like light years ago) I used to listen to a little music from time to time. But the most annoying thing in the world was when I lived in Nashville and was not a country music fan and I had to listen to country music EVERY day! These two girls in my lab LOVED country music and not only would they play it but they would sing to it (and they were bad singers) and from time to time I would catch them line dancing to it (and they were even worse dancers!). Talk about annoying!!!!!!!!!
Of course now I know the words to millions of country music songs and totally shock my husband from time to time just how much I really do know.

I listen to music quite a bit at work. If I really need to concentrate on one thing, I'll turn the music off. At home, while I clean, I crank the tunes.

i need music. when i study or need to focus, i like to listen to dance/techno music. in order to concetrate, i must have something to distract me from other sources of distraction.
i wish i could listen to music when i take tests. i bet id do a million times better.
i like to have uptempo music when i run too. usually its dance/tehcno.
