Seems like this was mentioned a while ago. My guru really wants me to convert to this and I guess I'm a bit resistant to leaving IE. If you have it, can you tell me about it? I'm looking at the website, but want more info.

Thanks!

Yeah, looks like it has some great stuff.

But then I look at the Mozilla forums and see all kinds of problems firefox has, and it scares me.

I do wonder if this would cure my issues in yahoo chat though. Regardless, when we get the new machine all hooked up, we'll still have IE so maybe just knowing I still have it will keep me at ease.

URG!!!

I'm wondering if I just need to d/l the most recent java. Of course, when we redo the puter, I'm sure he'll hook me up with most current everything, but I suppose I should make a list of the impt things.

He did figure out that I was having issues with Zone Alarm and Norton, so that's something.

That's because problems with IE are so prevalent that they're just referred to as "computer problems".

Go with Firefox and you'll never go back.

I have been using it for a few weeks since that last discussion. You can't use the yahoo toolbar. They do have a replacement toolbar but you don't have a mail button. It does do a better job at blocking pop-ups that have been getting through google blocker.

Overall it has been good.

I have been using it for a couple weeks too and hate it. Mad It does this time out thing I don't get with IE. But, I have dial up too. And I am not very good with computers. My problems are most likely self inflicted. Neutral Embarassed dunno

I asked about this a few weeks ago, and switched to it based on PH/Cappy's recommendations. I love it. No more stupid pop-ups/bugs that were so prevalent with IE! I will stick with it. Mr. Green
