I did once when I was a kid, and I regretted big time. It took all the fun out of Christmas day. I won't do it again.

No. I always try and figure out what the present is before I open it. I'm right about 2/3 of the time - ticks LC off. Mr. Green

I used to do it as a kid all the time. I've never done it as an adult, though.

you could put the presents in the middle of the room unwrapped with a blanket over them and i wouldn't look.

i don't *want* to know.

i mean i kinda want to know - but i'd never spoil it.

what the hell is the point otherwise?

I'm probably about 9/10 on being right. It's an inherited skill from my grandfather. There's few things that can't be figured out with a little shake, grope and weight estimation. Mrs jrjo always pleads, "will you OPEN it already!" Surprised

y'know, some people would have a problem with this. but i agree, it's an excellent way to find a suitable female companion.

I don't snoop, but the last few years I figured out what I got by where the Mrs bought my presents. Using the check card does have its disadvantages this time of year

I did this year, but totally by accident. The boyfriend has a m&m box in his closet, the same type that I got when I ordered special m&m's. I was at his house checking the mail, feeding the cat and getting extra clothes for him, so I saw the box. I was confused, thinking I'd wrapped a Christmas present in that box, wondering how he got it, etc. So I fricken looked in it. And now I know that he got me some personalized m&m's for Christmas. I know, I'm a d!ck. Mad

Otherwise, I don't normally peek at presents.
