I think some of the humans can even be considered real sh*ts.

I don't subscribe to the "Gaia" theory. But I do think modern man is a cancer to Earth, and Earth appears to have the ulitimate chemotherapy, but I don't know, maybe not for too much longer. Earth and all the other living things (besides humans) have had little impact on the planet and the life cycle of all other living things. There is an amazing ecological balance between the planet and living things and symbiotic relationships amongst all other living things. It is only modern man that is disrupting these relationships with our waste and uncontrolled growth. I do believe that if man doesn't stop reproducing at an exponential rate, the planet will not sustain us. The planet will probably change, and the life forms that can survive the change will be what is left. But Earth will still be here. Of course, there's no controlling the rest of the universe, so we don't know if and when some other heavenly body will affect Earth.

I really do wish I could have the airehead attitude and get a fresh perspective from theories like this, but so often they come across as simply loopy.
Did you know in the US there are 2600 religions? Each of them varying on creation, man, and earth's purpose. Then you throw in all the theorizes like this on earth creation and the list is probably 10,000. Then you throw in theories from drunken conversations across the country every Friday night and you're probably looking at 100,000 ideas. Not only are we in "information overload", I think we're in (I know I am for sure) in "theory overload".
I'm like Joe, I got one story and I'm stickin' to it.
