Posted: 06/29/06 - 12:04 Post subject: Do shoes make that big of difference?
I'm about to find out I guess. Here's my story.
I've been trying to get back into running and using gel-cumulus shoes (1 year old). I started at 2 miles and just could not run the 2 miles at a pace I felt comfortable at to bump up to 3 miles.
Last night I went running with a brand new pair of gel-nimbus shoes. I ran the two miles with no problems and felt like I could go 4 miles.
The reason I don't know if it was the shoes or not is because I ran in the cool night, instead of the warm/hot day.
I guess I'm not really asking a question, but comment if you want.
