Hello everyone,
I was wondering what devices people use on their runs. I'm leaning toward getting a Garmin Forerunner, but I wanted to hear what others have to say.
Thanks!

I use the Timex GPS system
GPS is the way to go IMHO, no more guessing on how far you ran, you just turn it on and go.
They are pretty reasonably priced as well

Polar S625X. I looked at a GPS based unit but didnt like the fact that if your in a heavily wooded area you loose your signal and I like to do my long runs on trails.

I second what Bill said, I think it depends on your cover and high buildings. I run in the country, but on country roads where the tree coverage isn't too bad, and I LOVE my Garmin 201. You can just run and it track you, and tell you the mileage, and your pace. You can program it to run against you. You can program it to beep (really annoying) to run at a certain pace, and it will beep at you and tell you to SPEED UP!! (Or slow down, but that is never a problem with me..)
