Title edited for harshness.
Sorry, Joe. Couldn't help it.
Picked up Paul for our race Saturday morning, ended up going down a street I've driven probably less times than I can count on one hand. Honestly thought it was 35, until I see the lights in my rear-view, and Paul says, "Uh oh, you know it was 25 back there, right?" Nope. So, I end up with a ticket for going 14 over in a 25. No warning. I guarantee had I been a woman, this guy would have let me off. $75, and 4 points - FOUR POINTS??? Don't know how your state systems work, but we get 12 points. Lose all of them and you lose your license. I will be heading to my court date to at least try and get the points reduced. Of course, I can make excuses, but I never speed in town. And it was on a downhill slope. I am not saying that I didn't deserve the ticket. Just frustrating, that's all. Alright, I am done venting. Poor me. Maybe I should just slow down...yeah, yeah.

Have a lawyer reduce it to a parking ticket. That's what we do around here.

if you go to court
it will likely be reduced to a 0 point ticket
trust me
as long as you were cool that is what happens
it was an honest mistake
be polite at the hearing and you will be okay
no offense taken i get yelled at all the time

I've gone to court in the past. Plead guilty - I know what I did wrong. They have dropped the points off. That's all I am hoping for. The money doesn't matter at this point.

the fine shouldn't
but with point car insurance goes up that is what sucks about the whole thing
that is why you go to court and it almost always gets reduced

Rando, get a hold of yourself! It's quiet time for scissor-boy.
Take 5, son.

Interesting that right after this 'banning' stuff came up, our server went down...hmm, I think Joel flew down here and took a leak!

Even more interesting is the fact that PH was gone all weekend and the server didn't go down. Prolly b/c he moved it out of the modulator's bathroom.
