I have to say I am very happy with our Foreman Grill. Aside from the usual burger, chops and steaks I have been using the grill to make:

Grilled cheese Sandwiches

Mozzarella Sticks

Garlic Bread

Panini

Bacon

Minute steaks for cheese steak sandwiches.

Anyone else have some ideas ?

Is that thing easy to clean? Is the grill portion dishwasher-safe? Considering asking for one of these for the Holidays to cook up simple burgers, steaks, chicken, etc.

I have one although I don't use it much. I did find it cleans up very easily especially if you do it sooner than later.

They make great space fillers in the cabinet or garage.

They work well if you've got a small pet that got caught outside in the rain too. Just make sure it's on the lightest setting.

Is the grill portion dishwasher-safe? Nope (unless they have a new model). The grill portion doesn't separate.

it does a good job of these. Cooks really quick, too.

It's great! I've even grilled veggies on it! I'd like to try quisidillas(sp?) at some point. I think they'd be really good too.

I like the way it cooks, but I don't think it cleans up very well at all.(depending on what you're cooking) I hate not being able to toss it in the sink and clean it. So I rarely use it.

I use mine all the time, for pretty much everything above, plus grilled veggies. Zucchini and yellow squash are particularly good on this, but eggplant gets kinda mushy and sticks. I'm thinking of upgrading though, I just saw him on Fox News the other morning and it looks like there is a new model in which the grills do come off and can be washed easier. The roomie tends to forget to clean the thing so it can be tricky if not done right away. I also have the bigger round one for outside that looks like the old Weber grill. That thing rocks for bigger gatherings. I've even brought it inside when it was really cold.

Its okay, but I think the thing is annoying and time consuming to clean. I rarely use it because of the cleanup. However, in addition to several of Andy's (I love grilled cheese on it) it does make lovely ridged pancakes (you have to level the grill with the drippings pan). It takes a minute to cook them maybe. So good.

I do both fresh and frozen french fries (I micro them a bit first). I also make sweet potato fries. When those are cooked I sprinkle them with cinnamon brown sugar.

I make teriyaki chicken which I soak in marinade all night then I cook the next day.

I love GF. Although I need a new one because mine is dying. Sad
