Posted: 04/19/07 - 05:30 Post subject: Diet
G'day all...
the past few years ive been running on and off but the past 4-5 months ive managed to maintain a pretty constant routine- approx 8 km 3 times a week. Up until now i havent really paid much attention to my diet - i eat reasonably well but i could do with a few pointers on a diet geared up for us running types. Ideally in a few months time id like to run the City to Surf, approx 13 km so ill need to start pushing myself a bit harder...
any pointers would be much appreciated

Hi Bondi Plodder!
Welcome to RunningForums!
I'm glad you choose our community to discus with other experienced runners!
I'll move your topic in Nutrition & Beverage forum, if you agree!
I think it suits much better there!
I'm sure you'll get some good suggestions from our community members.
Cheers!

I'm interested in learning some tips too. I'm going to run in my first race this fall and would really like to hear what type of diet everyone has when preparing for a race.
