Well i ran my 1st half marathon today and even though i thought my right calf was going to cramp up on me -i made it
My time was about what i thought it would be-2 hours 2 mins.
I found something else out too. I run better not listening to music.
I felt better too. I'm glad i didn't chicken out.
Thanks for all your help and advice.
Vanessa

Way to go, girl!!! The half is my favorite distance--long enough to be challenging but it won't bust your body up as bad as the full. Great job!

Nice Job!
I can't run a race using headphones either. They start to bother me. I use them every once in a while when I am doing long solo runs.
