Here's my Sept. 11th race report top ten:

#10 Big Honkin' medals

#9 Settling into training pace for a 1:41 knowing I've got another halfM next wk.
#8 One big shoreline lake loop
#7 Seeing Joan Benoit Samuelson beat the regional women and stomp all but 7 guys in a 535 person race.
#6 Pacing a running club buddy for his five 5km at 7-min pace.
#5 One word... Ultima.
#4 Having the family at three places on the course cheering.
#3 Long-sleeve coolmax race shirts.
#2 Sharing several minutes of silence in memory of 9-11 with 1,000 people.
and
#1 Running a race hosted by my running hero and having him cheer me into the chute. Mr. Green

I must be running the wrong halfs - all I got from the last two were two LSTS, and only one was coolmax. Evil or Very Mad

Well done, jrjo. I read the RW article on Beardsley. Several times. Very moving.
