timely warning as well, since this is the time of year that deer start running: all those hormones raging as they go into rut. my encounter with a deer was in november. I've seen them out already this year, and it will only get worse through the next couple of months. really, be very careful out there, especially at night.

Thanks Joel! I always wanted to know what my Durango would look like with a deer in the front seat!

see how little damage there is to the front of the truck
a deer strike accident is never the drivers fault
it is not a chargeable accident for your insurance
because they consider it an act of God

my insurance company referred to it as a "deer loss"
one of their questions to me was: did you hit the deer, or did it hit you?
important to note that if you swerve to miss a deer but hit something else, ins. co's may not want to pay as readily.
