Dear Birth Parents:

Thank you ever so much for having that baby in August and therefore having no time or inclination to take care of us. We have been adopted by Maddie and have amazing potential as a marinara later in life. There was talk of us being used in lasagne come January.

Giving us up was the best thing you could have done for us. We would have been compost otherwise.
