So, I'm really struggling with wanting a new carbon fiber bike frame/fork and then building it up from there with carbon fiber parts and some really nice wheels.
Somebody help me, I don't need another bike.

you need to talk to your current bike about your feelings and see how it reacts.

As long as it's not the same as your neighbor's bike, I'd say you're good to go

Thanks for putting it like that jrjo. But since Jesus just got done riding a donkey into town and I should strive to be like him, shouldn't I buy a Huffy instead?

there really was not an option for the lightweight alloy for The Man though. Plus it would not fullfill scripture either.

More like the flesh is willing but the wallet is weak. That's usually what it's about with me.

That's frequently my problem too, but not right now. THAT'S what the real problem is. Any moment now I may buy carbon handlebars and stem.

that's it, sublimate those desires! the "Shakers" were good at sublimating; "hands to work, hearts to God" and all that.
