Just seemed timely considering. I clam up. Other people go get drunk. Or go drive for hours. What do you do?

I think that I am still in shock, as is everyone else.

Remember the good times that I had with that person.

Most importantly, get a good cry on.

Haven't had anybody super-close to me die lately, but that's how I handled it last time it happened.

PH doesn't handle death well.

Thanks, you guys. I can't cry yet or I will lose it.

It's too surreal. Thanks for being here. Everyone else is either poo-faced at the restaurant (which is closed today) or trying to figure out what to do about the business. Or sedated.

i don't know... when my grandpa died i don't think i even cried.

it's not that i don't miss him, but there really wasn't too much i could do... i don't know how i'd take it. i know if my girl died, i'd just be destroyed... i really don't know.

i know that i'd definately spend a fair bit of time alone with my music..

sorry if you've lost someone.

Usually at the same time.

Sorry, kristin, but for what it's worth, we're all here for you.

Kristin, just deal with it in a way that works for you. Its okay to ose it, but in your own good time cuddle .

I always find times of trauma feel somewhat surreal. I think it is part of a protection mechanism, and things becomes more real as we become more ready to deal with them.

On running sites, it's probably over done as the cure all remedy, but it works for me. I dedicate my running for awhile. I've lost all my grandparents and other close family. For each, I pound the miles out while I remember so many things about them. I get on with life, but for that hour a day it's for whoever and the next race is in their honor. It's a good release for me.
