The topic of the Rather/Hussein interview came up today at lunch, and someone later asked the question "If you could interview one person, alive or dead (though not dead during the interview, folks), who would it be?"

It was a tossup for me, between Thomas Jefferson and Marilyn Monroe.

I'd want to pick Jefferson's brain, natch.

I'd be content to just sit in the same room with Marilyn... naughty

Yours?

I'd love to interview the non-camel-toed Elvis...

Adolf Hitler. As much as an ass he was, it would have been interesting to see how the present day media would treat him.

Jesus. I've got a lot of questions that I'd like to have answered while I'm still alive.

You'd pick Jesus over Marilyn Monroe?

He'd probably answer all of your questions with parables anyway.

I think the apostle John or Paul would be cool to talk to also.

We'd prolly send in inspectors, first, to see if he really was as bad as they say...

As far as who to interview...hmmm...maybe Jesus. Maybe Deborah from the Old Testament. She and Jael were quite the tough broads.

An interview with General's Lee and Grant would have been an interesting one too.
