Although I am a dedicated rider and cycle on average some 300-400 miles a week, I am unhappy. I can ride that distances without any problem. I also average at some 22 mph. The only problem is that I just can’t ride hills. I hate those damn hills. My thighs are just burning with pain and I have to stop and watch other riders pass me by. Is there anything I can do about it?

Of course, there is. You have to build some power in your legs. Endurance is a nice thing but when it comes to riding hills the only thing that can get you up is the strength in your legs. The best way to build the strength is to lift weights. You will be amazed with your strength and power after some 4-6 months of weight lifting program. Your new muscle mass will push you beyond your wildest dreams.
