O.K., heres the deal.

I have all the will power in the world when it comes to running and hitting the gym. But when it comes to food I get cravings. And I don't mean "Hmm, it sure would be nice to have some ice cream"...I mean "screw the bowl, hand me the carton and a big spoon!!" Razz

And of course after the binge I feel like a total loser and it affects the rest of my week. Which in turn affects my workout motivation. And besides the physical cravings I think one thing that triggers this bad behavior is lack of preperation with meals. By the time the wifey and I get home from work and start thinking about feedin' us and the kiddo, it's like "It takes too long to thaw meat out, just order a pizza". Pizza? Or we end up snacking instead of eating.

So here's what I need. Does anyone know of a great source for quick, healthy recipe's online? Stuff with flavor!!!

Thanks!!!!!!!

I'm probably not the one to post first, but I liked the look of this recipe site I stumbled across the other day.

My diet consists of sandwiches and pasta roni. The angel hair kind cooks in 5 minutes. Other than that, I cook stuff that freezes well so I can just microwave it and have a hot meal in a few minutes. Ah... college...

ME,
I remember my favorite meal in college. Toast 2 pieces of bread. Place sliced cooked hot-dogs on the bread. Add shredded cheese and chopped onions and top it all off with hot chili. Follow with a six pack of cheap beer.

But alas, as a family man of 30 yrs old must give up his sandwiches an romon noodles for dinner. Very Happy

I can relate, I end up eating cereal for dinner many nights because I can't even wait for water to boil When I'm hungry, I'm hungry, step aside! Mr. Green

I don't know how adventurous you are in the kitchen, but here are some websites where my sister has found some REALLY fabulous recipes. Of course what I probably should tell you here is that she cooks for a living and tweeks these as she goes but I, one who loves to eat but can only moderately cook, have found some tasty and do-able recipes on some of these.
