I keep hearing from my friends about cycling climbing all the time. I have never tried something like that but it looks appealing to me. That is a small adventurer lurking inside of me. I am a bit afraid of that since it seems like great effort and I am not sure that I can make it. What do you think?

First you have to become strong. Then you have to be smart. By combining these two you can win the difficult race. There are several strategies and tactics you can apply in order to survive the mountains. Observing more experienced riders and duplicating their tactics may prove beneficial. You may also pay attention to the rider that has similar abilities you have. If manages to ride easy in certain section you can use his tactics to do the same. Following someone’s lead may get you through to the end in a good spot. I suggest you find several more experienced riders and watch closely how they economize their energy and pace on climbs to catch important clues.
