What holidays would you add to the calender?
my selection...
Super Bowl Monday...
productivity and worker morale would be lifted greatly by just shutting down the day after the big game. Nobody likes hangovers.

We get the whole month off so we don't have to spend as much time shovelling/commuting as we do actually working.

...not just to put politics in every thread lately, but really, why not shut everything down like it's the Fourth of July for one day every four years and get some monster voter turnout!

That's a good idea. When I worked for the county every election and primary election day were paid day's off

I saw we close down where I work for 20-something days every July for the Tour de France. Other places of business should stay open since it would be very inconvenient for me.
