Around 5:55 AM today the south wall of our new "Press Pavilion" where the mailroom operations will be lost two of its concret panels.
The construction crews were just starting work when this happened.
No one was hurt, but we were advised to not exit fron the north office doors for the remainder of the day.
Here's a link to the construction site webcam, and its hard to make out but where you see the big gaping hole is where the two panels fell.

No one was hurt in the collaspe, and my office area is on the south end of the Circulation building.

Scorch, I guess ya better stop playing that disco music so loud and dancing around the office. The vibrations are rasing havoc with the building materials.

Lucky no one was hurt. If that happened in this place our safety dept. would be going absolutely nuts.

We have a number of people TV crews, saftey people on site right now and wondering what happened.
We at this point 40 days behind schedule don't know how much this will put us.
